Rag dolls
Rag dolls bring us memories, remnants of a childhood dedicated to their conception.
Paula Martinho started the art of sewing when she was a little girl, in the company of her mother, who was a milliner and taught and motivated her to continue the craft.
She enjoyed the experience, learning little by little, developing a taste for new projects.
She started with embroidery, crochet and knitting, later giving life to beautiful rag dolls.
She likes to do everything, but what motivates her the most are new projects, which she commits to and give her pleasure, such as the Valentine’s handkerchief, which she sees as a way of making Vila Flor’s poets known.
Come and discover this passionate art, which is unique in the district, and appreciate the beautiful works of this weaver.
