Natural patrimony

Lagos do Sabor range from the Baixo Sabor Dam, which began operating in 2016, to Foz do Azibo. The water mirror is approximately 70 km long, covering territories of 4 municipalities in the district of Bragança: Alfândega da Fé, Macedo de Cavaleiros, Mogadouro and Torre de Moncorvo, with large lakes, namely Lago de Cilhades, Lago do Medal and Lago dos Santuarios, connected by gorges and cliffs, which form a true wildlife sanctuary and offer visitors a blue sky and a breathtaking horizon.
