Lamas de Orelhão

Historical Heritage
The village of Lamas de Orelhão was the seat of an extensive municipality, founded by a 13th-century charter, which some authors indicate dates back to 1225 and was granted by King Sancho II. There are several testimonies of its past that still come down to us, including its pillory, with a circular capital with a very characteristic Bragança style finish, consisting of four arms in a cross.
