Natural patrimony
Murçós is part of the Union of Parishes of Espadanedo, Edroso, Murçós and Soutelo Mourisco Of its heritage stands out the Mother Church, the Chapel of Santo António and the remains of the Mines of Vale Escuro, which operated until 1976 in the extraction of tin and tungsten, a metal of great importance for the production of weapons during World War II. The extraction of wolfram in the region dates back to the year 1940, having been suspended in the period between 1976 and 1981.
