Exhibition, Mirandela, until May 31, 2024
The artisan Jorge Órfão has an exhibition until May 31st that brings together some of his most representative works at the Ecoteca de Mirandela.
Metallum Art: From Trash to Luxury is the name that illustrates the artist’s work: his passion for metal, where he explores new concepts for pieces that are already abandoned, giving them a new life. From old pliers pairs are born in sweeping dances, or wrapped in a cozy embrace. Simple nails give shape to a minimalist nativity scene or a last supper… varied and forgotten agricultural tools become the body and soul of stunning sculptures with their own aesthetic sense.
